Despite my academic background in Law and Sociology, my relationship with sports was always intensive and that marked much of my professional life. National Enduro champion, Bronze and Silver Medal in World Championships and some triumphs in the most emblematic races of the World Rally Raids, as well as taking part in the major African events are some of the most important milestones.

I was national coach of Enduro, I organized multi-traineeships of pre-competition and also for professional riders. One of the founders of Mountain Club, association with intense activity in organizing trials and challenges at the highest international level, among which stand out the ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) and National Camel Trophy for Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Portugal.

Later, I was responsible for developing some of the most well known projects in motorized sports area, namely in Formula 1, Off-road, GT’s, Brazil Porsche Cup GT3.

Outside the sports context, the most important aspects relate to the Management of positions in the Research and Documentation Cooperative, in the 18th Century Society Studies and the Geography Society. I was also an ACAP consultant (Specialized Committee of Motorcycles).

The skills in Consulting, Integrated Solutions and Communication had as support, among others, the creation / foundation of 4 companies specially prepared to address a very broad range of requirements and requests.

The training, follow-up of companies and developing proximity actions with target groups are also areas of expertise that are currently active.

My relationship with the bike is quite old, it begins in childhood when I was about 3 years old, becoming since then until today an inseparable company. When mountain bikes appeared in the 80s they added renewed interest for regular use, either for purely sporting purpose as a complement of fitness, or for various possibilities that the new concept brought.

The regular participation in mountain bike tours and the first trips of discovery of a hidden Portugal , alone and in groups, clearly gave a new dimension to this former relationship. The concept that Bike in Portugal has been developing in recent years is a natural validation of the bike as the elected vehicle to travel on vacation.
